I provide two core, evidence-based workshops designed to move organisations from awareness to action. These 90-minute to 2-hour sessions combine professional DEI leadership and lived experience.
This session moves beyond basic awareness to explore the psychological and structural realities for LGBTQIA+ employees. We focus on:
The Business Case: Understanding why diversity is good for business and how inclusion drives performance.
The Impact of Exclusion: Examining how things like stigma, microaggressions and discrimination lead to the 'covering' of identities at work.
Human Diversity: A clear breakdown of the diversity within sex characteristics, gender identity and expression, and sexual orientation.
Theory to Practice: Using inclusive language and the active practice of allyship through relationship building, learning and unlearning, and accountability.
This workshop focuses on the 1 in 6 Australians with disabilities and provides a roadmap for structural and cultural inclusion. We focus on:
The Social Model of Disability: Shifting the perspective to understand that people are disabled by environmental and social barriers, rather than their disabilities.
Defining Disability and Accessibility: Exploring the different types of disabilities, examining the difference between equality and equity, and using a person-centred approach.
Workplace Adjustments: Navigating legal responsibilities under the Disability Discrimination Act, creating psychologically safe environments for employees to share information about what they need to work at their best, and facilitating empathetic and actionable adjustment conversations.
Accessible Communication: Practical tools for everyday accessibility, including readability and plain language, alt-text and image descriptions, and accessibility apps and tools.
Corporate and Government: Starting from $1,500.
